Subway commercials are starting to annoy me. First of all there all retarded. I can’t stand those Jon Lovitz commercials. And this Jared, enough already. Great I get that you were fat and lost it eating subs. Good for you. First few commercials were fine, but now, it’s got this attitude that makes him sound like a pompus ass. Whoopdie doo, only 6 grams of fat. How about some stats on the rest like carbs, sodium, etc. I was watching this one interview of an over weight girl after seeing one of his ‘modivational’ speaches. She was saying, yeah great I'm sure his diet works, but I can’t afford to eat Subway every day 3 times a day. I don’t need some guy getting in my face telling me how easy it is. Great he could afford it, now quit braging about how easy it was for you.
Also what’s with this eat fresh crap? When was the last time you were in a restraunt and ordered the fresh chicken, and they slapped down a chunck of processed meat? And microwaved to boot. Anything that has been processed, frozen or microwaved looses it’s fresh tag. And when have you ever seen them slicing up tomatoes or letus? They don’t. They received it already chopped up in big baggies. Well sorry, altho fruit and veggies remain ‘fresh’ for several days after picking, once cut they are no longer fresh if not used that same day. Somehow I don’t think they ship all those bags of toppings out same day they slice it all up. They use processed cheese, and even the eggs aren’t in shells, they have the milk carton egg mixture. Only thing fresh in the place is there bread. I could probably get a ‘fresher’ product from 7-11’s fridge.
Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy my BLT sub sandwiches, but it’s for convience, not quality. If I want a quality sandwich, I’ll hit a deli or mom’n pop café where they actually have fresh cut toppings and sometimes even unprocessed meat. Or better yet, I'll make it at home when I'm in the mood.
