7x19 thoughts
A few thoughts about tonight's Supernatural episode: (Warning: Spoilers ahead)
1. Dean showers with the bathroom door open. Yes, yes, the boys were talking to each other, so they needed to hear each other. But they could have talked *after* Dean's shower.
2. Bobby has no problem being in the bathroom while Dean showers (though, thankfully, he doesn't go in the bathtub while Dean is showering).
3. Yay! Dean's bare shoulders!
4. Can't Dean and Sam be just a smidgen happy to be talking and seeing Bobby again? Just for a moment? Yeah, his status as a ghost is probably bad news. But before they angst over it, can't they have a moment where they're all happy?
This is not the first time Dean and Sam have failed to take a moment to be relieved something went the way they wanted before they focused on the negative aspect. In "The French Mistake," all they want is to get back to their world. But as soon as they get to their world, are they happy? Nope, they're immediately insulting their world and wondering if they would have been better off in the non-magic world.
These boys are depressed--always! They need professional help. Or they need a hobby that they can be 100% happy about, something that's free of all the stupid baggage they've assigned every other aspect of their lives. They need to know it's okay to be a tad more optimistic.
