[Guess who realized the time was up that Elric gave until he left? Drake's thrown his communicator, which is why it flicked on, and now it's turned up at an odd angle, showing Drake as he throws little balls of energy around the room, yelling and breaking stuff. Need, no. I merely insist on it. [He walked in and looked around, then pulled one of the trash bags from the cleaning supply cabinet from under his coat and shook it out. He checked the bed, picked up a few shard, and then jerked his chin toward it.]

My suggestion is that you sit there while I gather the broken glass. And talk. I will listen. Be as loud as you need to.

He moved around quickly, gathering up the bits in his large hands, face never changing expression even when the slivers pierced him.

Dracula dumped more fistfuls of mirror into the bag. "I do not know what those are. I just know that you strike me as a very loyal young man whose loyalty is not reciprocated often enough." He pursed his lips thoughtfully.

Dracula paused. Then peered up at Drake with a thoughtful frown. "It really would bother you to lose any of us, wouldn't it?"

Then a faint smile. "But that is no reason to limit your relationships. If you have several friends the others can support you when one goes." He went back to working.
