The Red Sox seem to be the masters of fucking useless trades.
They traded NOMAR to the Cubs, and got "shortstop Orlando Cabrera from the Expos and first baseman Doug Mientkiewicz from the Twins." I've never heard of those guys, so I can't say if they're any good or not (Although chances are if they were, I would've heard of 'em)...but the Sox didn't need another first baseman or shortstop (Well, we did after ditching Nomar, I guess)
...at least he's not a Yankee.
