My laptop randomly stopped charging this evening. The battery is dead and everything I need to finish my vg20in20 claim is on there. And so is everything else I need for icon making. Had to pay. My brother loaned me the money to order one online. It was going to be $30 for shipping from the manufacturer if I wanted it rushed, but even then I would have to wait a few days before they could process it to rush it. So I would have been like a week without it. And that just wasn't going to do.

But I found one online for $12, plus $17 rush shipping. It should be here Friday or Saturday, but possibly not until Monday. I am planning to go ahead and get my warranty charger with the free 7-10 day shipping though, so I'll have a spare in case this shit ever happens again. Especially since my warranty expires at the end of June. But I couldn't wait that long. It would require withdrawing from so much more since I'm in a bajillion 20in20s.

I should be getting paid by the end of next week, hopefully sooner. It's a long and complicated story that I just don't feel like getting into right now.

Thanks. <333 I'm really hoping everything goes well for them both. I'm going to be visiting my dad and step-mom sometime this summer, though possibly around Memorial Day weekend. My brother needs to figure out when he can get off work to go.

UH $17 FOR SHIPPING? It amazes me how sometimes shipping can be more than what you're actually getting for the product. That's definitely the way to go, hopefully it won't happen again. Yeah, I can see why that'd suck.

It's ok! I won't insist since I too had a ~I don't want to go into it moment this week. Thankfully it's resolved and you're getting paid this week. :3 I'm glad.

It's second day FedEx from Canada though. So that's like really cheap, actually.

Yeah. I've got my fingers crossed. I need the money like 2 months ago. XD
