I'm kind of tempted to sign up for anime_rumble, but I just don't really see the point in it if no one gets eliminated. D:
/bitch who likes watching people go down.

That was the one thing that had me flip flopping on entering, but at the same time, I love entering contests and love trying to make icons that fit the criteria of a challenge. So I figure it doesn't hurt anything.

I agree. I just... kind of don't get it. Like, do you have to submit for every round, or can you just submit when you want and try to rack up points? It seriously doesn't make sense to me without the elimination.
I love entering contests and trying to better my graphic skills, but... Idgi.

You have to submit for every round, I'm guessing. If I wind up not liking it I can just not sign up for it ever again.

Was just heading that way actually after seeing you having affiliated on several of the communities I just went around trying to affiliate with. Speaking of, want to affiliate our comms? XD

Nnngh I might just sign up and drop out out of laziness.

Sure thing! I'll add you up right now!

Added you as well. :D

One LIMS and like the five million other icon contest communities I'm in is enough to handle. ;-; I only managed to make myself submit for the last round of a LIMS that I'm in right now. Soooo lazy.

Wunderbar!

1. Punch things
2. ???
3. Profit?

The nice thing about icontests is you don't have to enter every week if the theme(s) don't grab you.

She went to bed, thank god. I love gaia, but listening to her squee about various shit on the site that I don't give a crap about for two hours is enough to make me want to gag her.

Very true! That's what sucks about LIMS. Unless you don't mind getting eliminated, you've got to stay in no matter what.

... People can squee about Gaia for 2 hours?
Um.
Wow.

Yup. I remember I was so disappointed that I got eliminated from vgames_lims just before the SMT week. And instead I got stuck with Rabbids for the comeback challenge.

Apparently she can. D:

The one thing I hate about this time of year is that it's the end of so many tv/anime seasons. I just watched the last episodes of Hakuouki and Durarara!! and there's several other series I'm watching that are about to end in a week or two. It's sad.

Awww, that sucks! I'm still pissed that I was still in the round when animanga_lims fell off the face of the earth. I WAS GOING STRONG, MAN.

I just watched the last ep of Hakuoki too. New season in the fall, I hope it's as hilariously bad as the first!

After I got eliminated from shoujo_battle I decided I wanted to start a shounen version and then stumbled across the comm and saw it was up for adoption. I felt bad for the people who'd been in the first round of shounenbattle because the old mod just gave up after the 3rd challenge. I had put up a poll about whether they wanted to continue where they left off, or start over and all but one said start over or didn't care either way.

I know, I was glad to see there'd be a second season. I really liked all the bishies characters in it.

It really sucks when mods go off the face of the earth while the community is still active. I can understand if you're hurting for submissions, but when a comm goes out with about 20 participants left, you've got a problem. I wouldn't have minded if the mods had said anything, but they just up and disappeared.
I hope you can get shounenbattle up and running! I've pimped it out in icontest_bb, and snm_queen pimped it out for you in anime_abc, so hopefully you'll get lots of entries!

Hakuoki was so bad that I've grow very attached to it. I'm going to have to watch Miracle Train to fill the bad anime void that Hakuoki's left.

I saw and thanks for the pimping. :D Most of the old participants that filled out the poll haven't made their way to the sign-up post yet, so hopefully they do soon. I did a bunch of advertising yesterday as well.

I remember stumbling across that series on MAL. It sounded so hilariously bad that I added it to my plan to watch list. I'm currently watching Kaichou wa Maid-sama which is so ridiculous, but I love it.

D: I hope they come back! Have you tried affiliating with a bunch of comms? Having other comms pimp you out helps a lot.

It is absolutely terrible. My Hakuoki watching buddy and I have vowed not to give up on it until we hit the episode where the train dudes turn into centaurs. Yeah, I don't even.
Also, there is a sad lack of really bizarre Miracle Train porn. For a series about anthropomorphic trains, you'd think they'd be able to come up with some reeeeeaaaaaaaaaally weird stuff.
Japan, I am disappoint. I wanted a good laugh.

Yup, I've gone through and commented to a bunch of comms to affiliate.

... They turn into .... centaurs... what? brb dying of laughter.

You would think. Geeze. Japan and their anthropomorphization of anything and everything.
