Alfie showed up early to the Room of Requirement to get everything set up. He told the room the band needed somewhere to play and he got what they needed. The space was big and had a very industrial feel to it.
He set up a table for drinks and snacks and a table for Lunar Howl merchandise.
There were a few tables and chairs but most people would

Bolly hadn't bothered trying to sneak out and instead just made all his dormmates come with him. He was wearing his Lunar Howl t-shirt, but he had an eye on the merchandise table so he could get different colours. With Sofie's help and a bit of practice, they'd managed to automate a lot of the effects and were able to run all the rest from a single control board, which meant Bolly didn't have to spend the whole show backstage-not that he would have minded, backstagers were cool-and could help himself to snacks. Which he was doing.

"You need some more shirts, don't you? We have pretty much every color," Blue grinned at him. "Thanks for your help, by the way."

"I need four green ones and a blue one for Auggie," Bolly said, hugging Blue. "But you gotta let me pay for at least three of those, because they're for my dormmates."
It's entirely probable that Naz, Baz, and Carter do not know about this and would not want them if they did, but that is not going to stop or slow Bolly down even slightly.
"You sounded awesome, by the way. And Aiden! And Arlo! And Alfie! I didn't know Alfie was singing lead for real, that was really cool."

He took a sip of his water, "Alfie wasn't sure he was going to. Drumming and singing lead is really hard. He wasn't sure he'd be ready but he was awesome. So was Arlo and Aiden. And Lottie was brilliant. It was a great night during everyone."

"The pulse effect on I Already Like You worked so well. I was pretty worried about that," Bolly is happy to admit now that it's worked. "And people really liked it when you guys rose on to the stage. I knew the extra effort of getting the lift up and locked in safely was worth it!"

"The lift was just exactly the right amount of much," Bolly says enthusiastically.

"I think you're right," Blue agreed. He walks over to the table and looks through the shirts, "You can give the money to Valentina, she's taking it for us tonight."
Reply
"Sure!" Bolly stands on tiptoe to try and spot pink in the crowd. Maybe later. That does remind him, though. "Soooo, if I were to play a teeny tiny totally harmless prank on the entire school at, say, breakfast, that would be easily undone and wear off naturally by the end of the day, that would be fine, right? Just a few points off?"
Reply
"Uh," Blue scratches his head, "on the entire school? I don't know." He really needs to shut whatever this is down.

"You know how Valentina's dad made her turn her hair back to brown and she was super sad? Well, she talked to him and he changed his mind, so she has her hair back, but before that happened, I thought that if everyone's hair was fun colours, he wouldn't be able to complain. And I don't really have to do it any more, but it took most of the holiday to work out how to do it safely, even with Grampa Fred's help, and I don't want to waste that effort. But I also don't want to get into huge trouble when the reason I was gonna do it doesn't exist no more," Bolly explains. "So I figured I'd ask you."

Blue takes a minute to think about it," I don't know how everyone would feel about that. I don't think everyone would like that."

Bolly nods. "Yeah, and it's not a good prank if people get genuinely upset. That's why I had to find a version that people who want to can instantly undo, but which will stick around a bit for everyone else."
Reply
Blue thinks about it, "I guess it could be worse," he said. "It's not the worst prank ever."

Bolly bounces excitedly. "So, points-level, not months in detention level, right?"
Reply
Blue nods, "Probably," he agrees.
