"Aren't you supposed to be flirting with me?" Hannibal asked after making his way through the crowd and to the bar. "I thought that was how things went."

"Difference is, when I'm flirting with you, I'm flirting with you because I love you," she said, leaning back against the bar while the bartender served her up a Long Island iced tea and grinning at Hannibal. "When I'm flirting with him, it's for drinks."

"Yeah, but he might think he's gonna get lucky," Hannibal said, shaking his head. "You're just breaking hearts left and right."

"I'm guessing it happens a lot," she laughed, turning around to accept her drink and asking that barman sweetly for a beer to go with it. There had to be a lot of college girls here doing exactly the same.

"Flattery will get you far," she added as she flipped back to Hannibal. "Or at least works really well for me."

"Is this what you've been doing since leaving the island?" Hannibal asked, smirking. "Flirting with bartenders for alcohol?"

"Only on the days that end with 'y'," she teased. It probably wasn't quite that much, but she couldn't say this was an isolated occasion either.

"Yeah, so?" Hannibal asked, shaking his head. "You should be pining for me, babe!"

Angela shook her head with a grin. "Pining is really not me. I can wish you were here while drinking fruity drinks," she claimed, raising hers and offering him the other bottle that had been slid across the bar for him.

"Isn't college supposed to be about classes and all?" he asked, reaching for the bottle.

"Only the day half of college is for that," she assured him. "And even then, I spend half my time drawing people. It's not exactly my idea of work."

"So, you're telling me it's a cake walk?" Hannibal asked, smirking. "And here I thought you were gonna try and challenge yourself."

"I am always challenging myself," she claimed. "Just not in the classroom at the moment."

"Drawn anything new and interesting?" Hannibal asked curiously. "Anyone as as hot as me?"

"Oh, never as hot as you," Angela assured him. "They wouldn't dare be."

"Good. I wouldn't wanna have to spend my time here glaring," he said, winking. "You come to this club often? I haven't gotten a chance to check out the nightlife in New York yet."

"Once," she confirmed, nodding. "I try not to go to the same place too much, because really, who wants to get bored in your first year at a place?" Variety. She was all about that.
