Today I got to my parents', and will be here until sometime after Christmas. Tomorrow the little girlies are coming over to bake and play, I'm so looking forward to that. They're probably going a little hyper already because it's only six sleeps before presents!
Talking about presents; I had a huge load of Christmas presents with me - so much that I myself was wondering where they all came from! But, honestly, they came from the shops (and my own workshop) along the past two months when I seemed to go shopping at least twice a week. Ouch! They are awesome presents though. Heh.
Antti's mom was fabulous when we were visiting her and her manfriend (what do you call a 50-year-old boyfriend?) was acting like a normal person, so we had a good time. And apparently A's mom was very happy which was pretty much the entire point of visiting :)
Our apartment in Tampere is so warm that the house here always seem awfully cold - I've been watching tv under a blanket most of the afternoon and will continue to do so. I've also been planning our Christmas menu (which doesn't need much planning as we like it traditional) and searching the cooking books for something extra yummy for dessert. I love being this idle and I love that there's a week of this ahead. Add that to gorgeous weather and the feeling is very Christmassy!
