i can't get over this poster
gotta love the retro screenprinted-torn exploitation look of their marketing materials. like 70s b-movie thrillers and "the attack of the 50 foot woman" or something. it's something i'd make into a t-shirt.
i knew tarantino and rodriguez would collaborate on something terribly disgusting/gory and just.. massive after sin city. i bought the sin city dvd (in hopes of seeing hours of bonus features) last week for only 250 (love astrovision) and now i can't stop borrowing and reading the comics.
when i first read the semi-review for grindhouse (they can't post the reviews yet since the film is still months away from the release date) on this site and saw the pictures i was just so fucking stooooked to see it already! i want to see freddy rodriguez and naveen andrews (SAYID, for fellow lost fans) in a killing spree. i'm just put off that fergie the walking botox is in it. but that's just me being hateful again, heh.
In the United States, the film is presented as a double feature of two full-length segments, one being a zombie film written and directed by Robert Rodriguez, and the other being a slasher film written and directed by Quentin Tarantino, with faux trailers advertising fictional films preceding each segment; in much of the rest of the world, the film will be split in two and each feature will be released separately.
shit i hope they don't show it separately and two months apart. wtf no. i'm all for the faux trailers. and they show it here this april.
anyway school is over for me. thank goonness. i'm leaving for kalibo then boracay in a few hours and i made a bet that when i come back i'll be as dark as jobo. hahaha. have a blessed holy week, everyone :)
