road trip with dad

Apr 26, 2006 11:59

I'm not at school today because I was mad sick last night and this morning.

Dad: Look out the window. What do you see?
Me: ...shipping crates?
Dad: That's the US trade deficit.

Dad: Believe it or not, Russia used to be good at something.

Dad: This is part of the New York City ambience.
Me: Yeah, the river's pretty.
Dad: Factories. Big, ugly factories. Ugly, dirty, old factories.

Me: When I was little, Mom wouldn't let me do a lot of stuff because I was younger than Mejin.
Dad: But you did lots of things without her permission. LIKE JUMPING INTO A FOUNTAIN.

Dad: *pats on head*
Me: I love you too.

Dad: Look at the river. It's HUNORMOUS.

Alex (on the phone): Where are you?
Me: I'M IN HELL
Alex: What a surprise.

Me: IT'S TIME TO TRYYY DEFYYYYING GRAAAAVITYYYY
Dad: wtf
Me: I feel less motion sick when I sing.
Dad: shoot me now

Dad: LOOKLOOKLOOK US TRADE DEFICIT
