Christmas Gift: Parody fic

Dec 20, 2008 19:18

My task for this year´s christmas exchange was a parody fic.
Coincidentally liabrown  had once charged me with writing a certain Rogues parody under the impression that it was one thing I´d never write - apparently she was gravely mistaken.

I present to you:
Title: The Simpsons The Snarts
Disclaimer: DC and ....Groening Property
Rating: G
Warning: insanity, ( Read more... )

holiday gift exchange, fanfic

Aw, Roy as Flanders...what'd he ever do to you? :>
It just struck me....I wanted Len to say "Shut up, Flanders" but couldn´t think of any Rogue who fit the profile....

Groundskeeper Evan is the greatest idea in HISTORY
It kinda was your idea^^

who's the counterpart to Lenny Leonard
the original fic had a part in it where Len talks about his day at work, how Lenny and Carl got him into a donut eating contest and that he didn´t destroy Keystone today - and then his boss, Mr C Montgomery Garrick got fired, Len failed to mention that and then came the:
"You didn´t tell me about your boss getting fired."
"Duh, I can´t remember everything that´s happened today."
"You told me about the candy bar you found three times"
"Wow, you found a candy bar, Dad?"
"Come here, kiddo, I´ll tell you the story-"
.....but I couldn´t imagine Len in a donut contest and proud of not-destroying the town, so I left that section out. I escaped the Lenny&Carl dilemma.
Originally they were Sam and Evan, but then Evan became Groundkeeper Evan. What Rogues are left?
Except for Boomer II, Nu Rogues and Roscoe....and they don´t fit the profile at all.

Poor lonely Roy...if only his parents had been beatniks...

I wish! It had totally never occured to me.

Maybe I'm a bad person, but I could imagine Len in a donut-eating contest ^_^

LOL, Roscoe could be Professor Frink :D

"Can we play with the top now?"
"No, you wouldn't enjoy it on as many levels as I do. The colours, children, the colours!"

I told you I was writing a parody fic with Rogues which also included Duff beer and then you asked if it had any Scotsmen - and my mind made the leap from Willie to Evan^^

you are a bad person - you´re a supervillain^^

LOL, Roscoe could be Professor Frink :D
that. is. perfect!!! =D

who could be Lisa?
I´m imagining the Turtle(s) as Grandpa Simpson and Jasper^^
Cicada could be Reverend Lovejoy
Wally can be Sideshow Bob^^
the ideas, the ideas^^

Aha, so I inspired it, but unfortunately it wasn't my idea :]

you are a bad person - you´re a supervillain^^

The strange thing is, now I'm picturing Len and Roscoe in a donut-eating contest, and that's just weird.

that. is. perfect!!! =D

"The secret ingredient is...love?! You stupid machine!"

who could be Lisa?

Mrs Krabappel? Patty or Selma? I dunno...

I´m imagining the Turtle(s) as Grandpa Simpson and Jasper^^

Hmmm, we need a Grandpa, but the Turtle does remind me of Jasper more. If you try to hurry him along...that's a paddlin'.

Cicada could be Reverend Lovejoy
Wally can be Sideshow Bob^^
the ideas, the ideas^^

Wally has 'Die James Die' tattooed on him. Of course, Bart Allen used to be the one drawn with oversized feet ;)

Well, originally I wanted Wally to be Skinner and Linda to be Ms Krapabbel...but the Sideshow Bob thing also fits.
I´ll say Wally is still Skinner, Barry gets to be Sideshow Bob.

I´ve had a bit of trouble with Lia, because Homer is an only child, Marge isn´t....either we clone Lisa into Patty and Selma....but that´s too weird.
Other major female roles?

Well, Grampa Simpson was once outrun by a turtle...that had stolen his teeth...
But weren´t there two of them?

Nononono, Barry's perfectly uptight and nerdy for Skinner! Heh, and then his weird boss Captain Frye could be Superintendant Chalmers. And Iris could be Mrs Krabappel.

LULZ :D

Helen Lovejoy, Maude Flanders, Lisa's teacher...um...

The idea of Lisa as Selma is kind of funny, since she tended to bounce from man to man (some mind-controlled) after Roscoe died. But nothing *really* fits for her.

Well, Grampa Simpson was once outrun by a turtle...that had stolen his teeth...

There was a second Turtle, but he wasn't old. Just weird. But I guess they make a good duo.

Maude Flanders
wouldn´t Professor Dillon would get mad if Lisa married Roy? I can´t recall if Frink ever had a love interest...

But I guess they make a good duo
exactly^^

He was apparently married, since when his son flew out the window in that model airplane, he said "My wife is going to kill me." I remember seeing her once in an episode, and she was as nerdy as he is.

This is why I can't remember the stuff I learned in school; my brain is occupied with crap like this.

as Homer put it: Everything I learn something new it pushes something old out.

she was as nerdy as he is
I don´t think that this would be ideal for Lisa....maybe she could be tough, blond lawyer (or was she an estate agent?)
or if we want incest -sexual improper tension between the snarts....Mindy?

When I was in university, at an exam I thought to myself "Okay brain, you hate me and I hate you. But let's just do this, and I'll go back to killing you with Usenet*!"

Homer is a great sage.

Haha, Mindy would be funny and wrong (but oh so right). Or Stan suggested the Crazy Cat Lady :P

I think I saw a book somewhere called "Philosophy with the Simpsons" - they are just magnificent

Or Stan suggested the Crazy Cat Lady :P
....I also thought of her, but dismissed it because of no real character relation
....so Mindy it is^^

Thank goodness I'm not the only one with that problem! :)
Everytime Lia posts/mentions/comments on Lisa, I get paranoid and have to double check my comment to make certain I've got the "s" in the right spot.
