Well, Geoff kept true to his word that there'd be a good WW showing in the mini (and we still haven't gotten to see his dark secret revealed --undoubtedly at the observatory). Hell, he gave everyone great character moments, here. But argh..I really hope Mark isn't getting short-changed out of a later Rogue Profile issue.

I think McCulloch has generally been shortchanged so far. He hasn't done much except seem mildly Scottish. Which is odd, because Johns always seemed to like him.

I wonder who it'll be among them that truly wanted Bart dead, though. There was that promise..

Not looking forward to that, because I don't approve of it :(

That makes a lot of sense. As for that young Josh, I bet Kolins went back to Birthright and forgot to age the kid much - unless Libra deliberately had Zoom snatch Josh from a point in the past. There's been at least a couple of years since that story happened in the DCU..

That's true, I forgot about Zoom and his time travel. In which case, he could grab Josh from any point in time and Iris might not notice.

*shakes head* Someone sure has a way with women, he does..I wonder how he likes writers? Although if I probably had to give him an answer, I'd say Douglas Adams. What say you?

I'd probably go with JD Salinger, but I have to admit that outside of comics, I generally prefer non-fiction. And I'm not sure who I'd pick for that...so I'm fried :O

As an aside, I just found this art you might like:

McCulloch might be an ace in the hole for #3? Johns is really going out of his way to darken these guys. I hope that it's all a mixture of the Final Crisis atmosphere/it's-always-darkest-before-the-dawn..

Noo! Don't be fried! You read at least.. Weather Witch was clearly a piece of trash whore who didn't deserve to live. He was doing her a kindness anyway since she probably would've been ALE-doped by Libra in the end.

Ooh! That is an awesome piece of art, indeed!

And huh...Kolins had mentioned how he wanted to get Grodd into the mini and lo, he gets to do a page at the end!

Certainly I wonder if Last Will and Testament is foreshadowing what we've speculated for Final Crisis: it has Cold doing a good deed and then pondering what it's like to be a hero. So maybe the Rogues will join with the heroes after all...that's what my money is on, at least.

...at least she had neat tattoos...but she looks a lot skankier in RR than she did in Gotham Underground.

Stupid Grodd...I'm annoyed at him for reasons that aren't even his fault ;P

That's what my gut instinct is too, though I'm not sure how much credence to put in LWaT. I only got RR last night, the rest of my stash'll be tomorrow most likely, but judging by a Newsarama review, it sounds like Meltzer was off doing his own thing, disregarding any FC continuity - and considering the darn accurate images that were popping up on the monitors on that Grodd page in this issue..

Still though, despite how dark things look for the Rogues, they definitely demonstrated they have enough firepower to get away from Libra's Society. If Libra were to let his plans for them slip, I bet they'd go straight to the Flash family to protect them, out of spite, especially since Barry and Wally are in the future now.

And I can't wait to see Mardon's promise of 500mph+ winds come true - with Josh around he could easily get there. ..andcometathink.. I also just noticed a subtle thing: when Mark's pausing to consider them going back to the observatory, he's looking at his wand...I wonder if his absorbing the lightning from Weather Witch's attack with only his hand means anything either..
