Flash TV show
So is anyone else watching the new Flash TV show? I like it so far but I admit, I'm watching it more for the Rogues than Barry and his story. Slight spoilers ahead.
I do like Barry but the Rogues are more interesting. Captain Cold is in this week's episode. A different version of Weather Wizard was in the first episode but I'm hoping they'll bring Mark in later as another WW to avenge his brother's death. I know Heatwave, Captain Boomerang, and Pied Piper have all been confirmed for this season and supposedly they're going to bring in Grodd too.
So far though, it's been more of a villain-of-the-week formula like Smallville was in the beginning but there's still plenty of time to develop Barry more as a character. I do find it a little weird that Iris is his foster sister in this knowing they're going to end up together eventually but I like most of the characters so far.
What I really want to see in the future is the Rogues actually banding together and some lighter moments as well. I know one of the future episodes will feature Cold and Heatwave working together but I'd like the whole group to be shown together at some point.
I'd also like to see Mirror Master, Trickster, Golden Glider, and hopefully Abra Kadabra in future episodes. If they can have villains like Girder show up in the first season, they should definitely include some of the more famous Rogues as well. But they'll probably wait for future seasons for some of them.
