Do American's describe something as looking or being wanky? Idk, where I live, if something's long, overly artsy and clearly self-indulgent, we generally describe it as being 'a bit of a wank' or 'wanky' (wank meaning, you know, masturbation, lol).
SO, do you say that too? Or is this another Australian-ism? It's actually for a fic.
