Two ficlets. I'm trying to train myself into conveying more in less. Does that make sense?

thank you so much! i just, i feel bad for Jeanae in general - she sorta got the short end of the stick, Pete's a bit of an emotional trainwreck, particularly to be dealing with when you're 15.
