(no subject)
I apparently suck forever at updating. Expect a better post soon, but in quick and dirty iPhone form:
- saw X-Men First Class and kind of loved it a whole lot, even though it sent my inner fangirl into waves of rage at the incorrect canon. May also have started writing Alex/Hank/Raven against my will.
- have been watching Game of Thrones (but am yet to see the finale) and good god that show does things to me. Like, just, fuck.
- also finished the hunger games which was pretty fantastic. I don't remember the last time I read about a female hero in a ya novel that was so self-determining and it makes me really fucking excited that teenage girls are now going to have the opportunity to grow up with a protagonist like Katniss who gets to be her own hero instead of one like Bella who gets to be no ones.
- non-fandom life is good. I'm becoming a grown up and stuff which is a little scary. One with responsibilities and work and rent and shit. Also one who's writing a fuck ton of original fiction, but more on that next time. :)
Anyway, what's up with you guys?
