i do kind of wish that too, but i'm pretty happy that rudd's gone tbh. i'm just really hopeful that she makes it through the next federal election.

This is so interesting, I have two Aussie flisters and y'all have taken completely different sides! I don't think I know enough about it, but I definitely wish she had been voted in by the people, not the Party. Something smells a little funky about how she got vaulted into power...

as in the other aussie on your flist supports k. rudd or abbott? because abbott's a sexist prick who thinks he has a say in every australian girl's sex life, so i really hope it's not him, lol ( ... )

No no, she liked Rudd, no fears. She was also afraid that because of such unrest in the Labor Party, people were going to vote mostly Liberal next time and it's like a giant step backward.
Hey, history lessons are interesting. Especially since I know next to nothing about the system; I barely know my own system of government, and that's through years of trying. :)
