you guys! there are like, shipper wars happening at
community_tv. i've never really been involved in any shape or form in this sort of thing, usually because i'm not into the pairings being shipped, but with all this jeff/britta vs jeff/annie stuff, i'm just like. seriously

Really? LOL. That sucks. I'm glad I'm not fannish over this show because I love it too much to have it marred by shipping wars. I don't even get it; I don't particularly like either pairing. I mean, Jeff and Britta are obviously set up as the show's OTP but I think I'd much rather have them be one of those on-again-off-again, can't-really-stand-each-other-most-of-the-time, have-too-much-chemistry-but-are-better-off-as-friends kind of couples.
I'm afraid that sentence contains too many hyphens to may any degree of sense, lol.
As for Jeff and Annie, she's way too young for him so that's mostly just creepy. Jeff and Slater would be okay; I liked them. Although, really, all these girls deserve so much better than Jeff so if I was to support any kind of gsf, it would be annie/britta/slater jealousy sex that becomes 'wait, this is so much better than being with Jeff' sex.

and seriously. i'm not overly fannish with the show because i feel like i get all i really need from the series itself, but i do dabble every so often. it was the wrong time to dabble seemingly given the shippers. tbh, it hasn't been that bad. people have been relatively respectful of each other, but still, the show so obviously ships everyone/everyone. and seriously, i'd like to see jeff/britta as that on-again-off-again thing as well, because unlike all the jeff/annie shippers, i really do think they have a bucket of chemistry. and they're both attractive, so, y'know.
and omg, i'd seriously be all over that annie/britta/slater jealousy sex! it would be so hot and angry! awesome. (lol, it's gotten so bad recently, i've gone from not-really-being-into-femslash to having-a-soft-spot-for to omg-yay!-more! in the space of like, three months. it's become a problem)
