- i went and saw 'how to train your dragon' again. it continues to be my new favourite movie. i mean, look! icon! if you haven't seen it yet, you should definitely try to. it's awesome.

- also this article totally reminds me why jk rowling is the baddest of asses. she's awesome and i'm not even living in the uk anymore, but i love her for writing this. thanks for paintingvisions for bringing it to my attention.

i'm seriously not enjoying the fake-sexual-harrassment storyline. i love naomi's character, she's such a hbic and i feel like this story is undermining her character. i'd actually rather it was a legit sexual harrassment storyline and it was her being all strong and badass and standing on her own two feet since her family's all jumped ship. instead we've got this whole out-of-control lie that's just kind of bad. i am really glad that she came forward at the end though and owned up about it and much to my own surprise, i really liked the annie-naomi scene at the end of the episode. it was a really nice moment between the two of them.

strangely as well, the dixon/ivy storyline is making me like both dixon and ivy a lot more than i did. i think they're really, really cute. i also like gia/adrianna and it makes me sad that the show's trying to fuck them over already.

also, where did silver's boobs come from? i mean, omg, they just sprung up there.

criminal minds
this ep was so much better than last week's. much grosser too. decapitation has always freaked me out.

glee
i am surprisingly happy that this show is back on. i wasn't particularly looking forward to it, maybe the hiatus was too long or something, but i was fairly indifferent. i'd forgotten how much fun it was though.

sue's still the best part about the show, and brittany and santana crack me up. i'm not sure about jesse either (he looks way too old to be in highschool) and i really enjoyed terri's appearance in the ep. i like that she's still so much a part of will's life even as he tries to move on. i don't have a lot to say about the musical numbers, but the hopefully that'll be different next week with the madonna ep *g*.

gossip girl
i was initially glad that the writer's didn't shrug off the drama involving chuck whoring out his girlfriend, but holy gender issues, gossip girl, blair deciding to sleep with another guy to help her boyfriend =/= chuck whoring his girlfriend out to ensure the ownership of his hotel and proving the ownership of said girlfriend. i mean, the show's always had gender issues (anyone remember chuck almost-raping jenny and serena first series? the writer's sure don't), but i thought that this would be something that would at least result in some sort of genunine rage. blair justifying his treatment by putting their actions in the same field and then breaking up with him because he doesn't make her feel warm and fuzzy is all kinds of wrong. at least nate reacted angrily?

although, i honestly don't believe that serena would have skipped visiting blair at all. the show's strongest point has always been blair and serena's friendship, and i feel it was incredibly out of character for her to not be there for her like that.

and omg, my hate for jenny is growing with a rapid, firey passion. what a conniving skank. i actually can't watch scenes with her anyore without cringing.

omg, crazy intense medical show, ily.

awesome episode was awesome, from the baby snatching to the stoned!foreman and taub to preteen!thirteen and wilson. although, surprisingly, my favourite part of the ep was chase and cameron. i felt we got some much needed closure on the two of them, but also their performances in this episode were some of the best i think either actor has done in the series. they were brilliant and emotional and moving and i'm not a fan of their relationship at all, but i shed a tear. it was awesome.
