been a while since i did this.

i cannot even put into words how happy i am that this show is back on the air. so much love. i really enjoy the structure of 'skins' in that we get a fun, 'getting-to-know-everyone' season, followed by what is essentially an unraveling of all we came to love. this was certainly an unraveling. the opening was grabbing and sad and clearly a catalyst and i liked that, true to form, we only got one real reaction to this tragedy in the episode.
so, yeah, thomas. ;_____________; i love this guy. i love that he's such a sweet and yet totally vindictive and lost character. he never really forgave pandora and he certainly didn't forgive cook and witnessing the death of sophia didn't so much make him reach out for comfort but rather push everyone away. screwing the priest's daughter in a hospital laundry room was all sorts of fucked up, but i loved that he still told pandora, and when he did, she was hurt, but she was overall more hurt by the fact that he was keeping his thoughts from her, that he wasn't telling her things. i've always enjoyed her character as for all her naivety, she's still able to hurt and be angry and feel betrayed, even if she's normally fun and silly, even if she did cheat on him first. i also loved effy's appearance. it was nice for her not to be at the forefront of what is clearly the dominant storyline of this season. i also liked to see her with clean hair, lol. i'm choosing to believe she was off visiting tony too, just so everyone knows~
oh, and also, i liked that the cook/effy/freddie storyline was present but really not the focus. i hope that is continued throughout the season.
house
continues to break my heart. house has had so much character development this season and i am loving it. this isn't really a spoilery reaction, lol. it was a great episode though. i loved the fall out with the psychopath too.
on a completely different note, i've been reading 'd.gray-man' and like, hardcore loving it. it's super enjoyable. i was worried that it was going to be too similar to 'bleach' when i started, what with the cutting of the akumas/hollows to help them move on, etc, but it's really very different. it's awesome.
