Poems about sex are all very funny, until you have to answer the question, "The poet uses a lot of metaphorical speech in this poem. Discuss."

Does Irish even have a word for sex? My dictionary doesn't seem to think so.

In other news, I sat beside this girl called K at the beginning of the year. I figured she's been in the class since first year, and if I didn't make an effort to get to know her now, I never would.

BIG. MISTAKE. The reason I never got to know her before now is that she is an IMBECILE. On a par with George W. only with less power.

Today we were in Irish, and Veronica asked her if Martha (her friend, who rarely comes into school) was fluent in Irish. This was a valid question, as Martha went to primary school in a gaelscoil (a school where everything is taught through Irish) when she was younger.

K's response?

"Oh, well, I don't know... I mean, hardly anyone is even fluent in English".

Well, she's certainly not at any rate.
