A Spartan's pain
So my costume that was in development for about 6 months came upon some hard luck with the decision to wax my chest. It seemed like the way to go in order to show off my Spartan physic but apparently my body disagreed. Now almost a week later I still have a pretty nasty rash going. Its finally showing signs of healing. Maybe if I'm lucky it'll be healed enough to go out on Halloween night. But I'm trying not to get my hopes up.
It really sucks to work this hard on something then ending up having to compromise what I was going for in the end. But I guess thats just how some things work out. At least I know I tried. And if nothing else I did enjoy getting in shape. And I still plan to keep working towards that six pack :-P
I'm also hearing its suppose to start snowing soon. I love snow in Bellingham but its too damn soon! I'm not done enjoying fall yet! I mean Halloween hasn't even happened yet and its freezing outside. What ever happened to crisp warm Fall nights? Damn you global warming!!
I am excited that I was able to pick up Guitar Hero III yesterday. Over 70 new songs to rock out to! Kick Ass!! The addition of boss battles is pretty interesting too. Last night I took out Tom Morello and Slash! I really thought Slash would have been much harder than he was. But I didn't have much trouble. Weird. Anyway, I'm sure to be spending much time playing that at least for the next month until Rock Band comes out :-P
Other than all that, I really don't know whats next. The last few months of my life have just been leading up to the events of October. Now that its almost all over I really don't know what to do. Guess I need to set me some new goals. :-)
