iTunes! You are a Demon Beast!!
OMFG! So I finally got up the balls to transfer all 57.8 GB of my music from my computer's main hard drive to its secondary and much larger one. And just as I feared chaos ensued! Everything seemed to be going fine. The files all transfered fairly smoothly. I redirected iTunes to my other hard drive. I thought, wow I should have done this a long time ago. Then I noticed all my playlists were missing. I come to find out the iTunes Library file got lost in the transfer. The only one I can find that NOT damaged doesn't seem to want to open. So basically ALL the work I've put into rating and organizing my songs, Gone! And it gets better.
So I plugged in my iPod to update my podcasts. I made sure to uncheck everything else from updating. Then I get this message like "Different iTunes library detected, sync iPod with this library?" I figured yeah, I'm just updating my podcasts right? WRONG! I wake up this morning to find my iPod completely wiped clean of all its music. Since there were no playlists it didn't put anything on. I'm SO PISSED at iTunes right now that I wish I could kill it! Its going to take me forever to go through all my fucking music and get the stuff I always listen to back on there. Not to mention rating all my songs again! What a pain in the ass!! iTunes needs a big ass UNDO button for people like my who don't always understand the stupid lingo they use.
I REALLY hope moving all the music help my computer run better!
