Star Trek
Star Trek was great. I can say it's one of the best movies of 2009. Sorry Batman, you had the tendency to take yourself way too seriously.
With Star Trek, time never flew by so fast. I walked in a complete noob, but it didn't make me feel alienated at all.
The only disappointing thing was that the screenwriters managed to reduce the only potentially-strong female character into a useless prop. All Zoe Saldana did was stand there looking worried/annoyed. Her only challenge was probably keeping a straight face while kissing Spock.
Other observations:
1. Zachary Quinto makes Spock disturbingly hot. Spock >>>> Sylar
2. Winona Ryder was a surprise. So was Jennifer Morrison. I had no idea they were cast in Star Trek. ^^
3. Funny moment when Mark and I recognized Simon Pegg. It's Shaun of the Dead!! The Scottish accent actually made him indistinguishable.
