DOCTOR/ROSE (DOCTOR WHO)
I knew the moment I saw this question on another journal what my answer would be. The Doomsday Doctor & Rose scene where Rose is taken to the other universe and is trapped there. Sure the Goodbye scene takes the cake as well, but this broke my heart the first time I saw it and it literally made me start to cry harder...
I MEAN LOOK AT THEIR FACES....
Rose is utterally SHATTERED AND BROKEN.... The Doctor? Looks as if he's dead inside and later in the episode you see him cry... Losing Rose broke him again.
I'm sure there are more - I know Spuffy & Delena would have topped the list as well, but I currently can't focus on any other heartbreaking scene.
