[As far as Xion knows, it's a perfectly normal day. She's headed home in the evening after a long day in the library, studying any medical books she could get her hands on. She's even got a little notebook full of notes to show for her efforts, and she's proud of it, okay!
As she's walking up to the door of her house, something occurs to her, and she pulls out her journal.]
Hey, Luke? I just remembered, I still have your jacket! If you wanted to come g--
[There's an abrupt, stunned silence. Xion's just opened the door and stepped inside --
And found a rather unpleasant scene.
The books she's holding fall, and her journal shuts on landing, cutting off the feed. But her voice will pick right back up from a different journal -- Axel's, left abandoned nearby. And she's screaming, hysterical and enraged.]
YOU! GET OUT! GET AWAY FROM HIM OR I SWEAR I'LL--!
[her voice is drowned out by a great crash and a crackle, like thunder, or lightning. both, probably. There's the sound of
vanityunbcoming laughing, cruelly, and another furious shriek from Xion, before a sudden silence.
Then she's yelling again, but the tone of it has drastically shifted from anger to absolute terror.]
AXEL! Please, please don't die...
[after she trails off, the journal picks up the sound of Axel's voice, but barely. his voice is weak and slurred there in the background.] Not fading away just yet. 'Sides, not like you can kill something that's already died, right? [then a weak chuckle]
... shut up, you big dummy! [from the sound of her voice, she's definitely crying, but she no longer sounds as hysterical. a thought strikes her, and after a moment she manages to locate Axel's journal. she brings it with her as she rushes back to her friend's side, and shouts into it even as she does what she can -- a whole heaping ton of magic -- to heal her friend, to keep him alive...]
ROXAS! You need to get home, NOW! Please, please....
(ooc; action locked to housemates! chronologically, Roxas's thread will come first. Both Axel and Xion will be replying to threads, but feel free to specify if you just want one or the other, or both.)
