Mint and Strawberry. If they're at the same time it's especially good!

Mint and strawberry? Doesn't seem like it goes that well together.

They really do! Everything is a matter of taste, but I like them the best together. Double scoops on a cone can be hard to manage though. If you don't think it works well then tell me what you think is better.

Sea-salt ice cream is where it's at. Popsicle style. Now that is ice cream.

Sea-salt? Why would you want sea-salt in your ice cream? I heard adding salt onto cold things would make it melt faster too. Besides that, Popsicle ice cream is too hard and makes your tongue cold. It doesn't have the softness that a scoop can deliver. Popsicles are just flavored ice!

Gives it a bit of a kick on top of sweetness. But, eh, popsicles are just easier. And you don't have to deal with a spoon. Besides, you're eating ice cream anyway, doesn't matter if it makes your tongue cold.

Well spoons are for cup ice cream. Cones are similar to popsicles, but the major difference is that you can eat the ice cream and the cone itself along with it! So there's no sort of clean up involved.

What you say is true, but popsicles lack the 'cream' in 'ice cream', which makes them inferior. Scoops give you the best of both worlds.

[Just... laughs.]

I've never had such a serious discussion about ice cream before. All right, all right. You win.

[she laughs a little too.]

That's wrong. We both win, when it comes to ice cream. Of course, I wouldn't mind claiming a victory if you let me.

We'll call it even. Fair?

Deal.

...Although now this conversation makes me want to get ice cream. But the weather outside isn't very good.

Yeaaah, a little too gloomy out today. Ice cream is something you gotta eat when it's nice out, otherwise it just doesn't taste as good.

I agree. Even so, when you eat it on a hot day it melts away faster. It sounds like a complicated paradox or a zen riddle.

"If you eat ice cream when it's warm it will melt faster, but if you eat it when it's cold it won't be as satisfying. So when is the right time to eat it?" Or something like that.

Heh, and if you try to eat it too fast on a hot day so it doesn't melt you get brain freeze. But I think as long as the moment is right, then it's a good time to have it. Me and my friends used to use it as a reward after work, and even if it melted a little it was still good.

I remember being treated to ice cream if I did good on a test in my class. Everything feels more satisfying if you do it after accomplishing something. When you feel upset and get treated, you can be happy but your mood will ruin your feelings on the treat.
