had an impromptu poker night this evening. ended up taking in 48 bucks; not bad for only five people playing. i like smaller games, or, to be more accurate, smaller tables. at full tables the pots are bigger, but my intuitive understanding of things like outs and playable hands is much more conservative. and i like action, not folding, dammit. and
