I had a pretty good time while I was home over break. I actually got to see my friends more than once, which was awesome (including 2 sleepovers!). I picked out most of my Christmas presents, but I suppose it's better that way. I can't wait till I have a real kitchen because then I can "display" my kitchen stuff that's all coordinated. Then I spent time with Jeri's family at the farm and while handing out presents it was apparently confusing between "Jen" and "Jeri". I got a really pretty handmade purse from his Aunt Linda, which was cool. I also got an olive oil bottle from his grandma, which rocks my socks off (even if his dad got the same thing). All in all, a good Christmas, and the farm was a lot of fun, as per usual. And, Jeri was a very good boyfriend at the farm, which was AWESOME.
Jeri bought me a fish yesterday as my last Christmas present. He's a blue betta named Spike. So far he's still alive. Speaking of Christmas presents, you should ask Jeri to show you his quilted wallhanging that someone made him. It's pretty good, especially for a first project.
Classes should be okay this quarter, and I've got to do my research project. Oh boy! Tomorrow I'm going to make Jeri go buy books with me. I'm selling one book to a fellow MSEer, and I'm going to try to sell another one to someone else. Meanwhile, I've got to make some appointments to talk to people about optometry school. Then maybe I can plan my future a little more clearly.
In other news, my little brother was accepted into OSU and the Honors program. I'm pretty excited for him because I know he was worried about the Honors part.
Hope everyone has a good quarter!
