As a matter of fact I certainly do!!! :-)

Liberty is truly a extraordinary University. I have enjoyed every single minute I have been a student here. I am currently a junior and have been here for three years. I read your post about someone from LU calling you. I wouldn't cross Liberty off your list just yet...I'm not sure where you are from, and I understand about the whole money thing...but, have you heard of College for a Weekend here at LU? You can check this website to find more information about it www.liberty.edu/cfaw , but basically it is a weekend where prospective students and individuals come to visit and find out what Liberty is all about. I believe it only costs $50 for the whole weekend, and I think a friend can come along for free. They even have buses that will come to certain locations to pick people up. That might cost a little extra...like 20-30 bucks. You would be assigned to stay in one of the dorms with actual students, so you wouldn't have to find a place to stay while you're here. This would be an excellent opportunity for you to find out more about the school. You would be able to talk to people one on one about the different programs offered here, as well as see what the college life is like from living to the dorms and even checking out some classes if you want.

If you can't come to see the school, I give you my word that it is a beautiful campus. The people here are extremely friendly, and the opportunities to grow as an individual and in your faith are endless. The professors are truly top of the line and actually care about you as an individual and your academic/personal success.

And yes, the music program is solid!!! (I am not a music major, however...but I do have many friends who are)

As far as the cost is concerned...I know the frustration. There are different scholarships available. I'm not sure if you've been able to look too much into them. They give out academic scholarships based on a grid of your GPA and SAT or ACT score, as well as the Liberty Champion Scholarship which I believe is $8000 over the course of four years. I think there are a bunch of little ones as well, like alumni and pastor scholarships, etc. If you are studious and like a challenge, Liberty also offers an Honors program in which you can get up to $3500 extra each semester, I believe. You have to apply for it though and meet certain academic criteria.

I know that this is a lot of information, so I hope you are not too overwhelmed. I hope and pray that it helps you somehow! If you have any questions, I would not mind at all trying to answer them. I hope that you will be given peace about where you are supposed to be for school. I personally had no clue where I was going to college when I was a Senior in high school, and my friend wanted to check out Liberty. I had only heard about it through word of mouth. I visited during college for a weekend, and fell in love with this place. I realized that it was the place I needed to be! I couldn't stand being anywhere else!

Good luck with everything and God Bless!
