I'm pretty sure there is nothing "Medieval" about this skirt:

also my GAWD how much???? I have done one better ... here have an Aiba skirt of glitter doom!!!

I don't know what came over me ... it was one of those days I guess and the skirt just screamed at me... it was fate when there was one in my size (because seriously there never are) and it cost $5! How could I resist! I don't know the things I do sometimes just defy logic.

*HUGS* love you two!

I love love your Aiba!skirt&hearts Do you get to wear it much! And it was on sale!!

and yes, over a hundred dollars for a skirt--and a tiny one with no shape, at that O__o I like Rue la la, but damn, no way in hell. Though if I go back today, I bet it will have sold out O__o

sadly no ... but I wear it at home ... when no one is about and dance and sing, occasionally I put it on because the children think it is fabulous. Not as fabulous as something Jun would pick of course. ^_~ The girl has taken to pointing out things that Jun would wear. She really loves him.

That skirt up there .. of course it would have sold out because they cleverly 'slashed' the price in half and it would be seen as a 'jolly good bargain' and silly not to grab it at once!!!

And yes clearly Forkbeard needs his own comic.

I would totally flounce around and clean in it while listening to peppy music ^_^v

The boy and I have been known to go to the even gown sections of the department stores and pick out what looks Je worth, what's Matsufabulous, etc. We haven't done that in a while, though ^^;

*HUGS* - Hope you're managing ok. Thinking of you ... always. One more day to race day. I decided I won't do any training tomorrow, just some gentle excercise.

I managed to put in a solid hour the last four nights including earlier this evening. I lapsed a week and a half and I did really feel the 'not doing anything' after doing two and a half weeks worth of work. Well I hope it's enough to see me through to the top. I'm not 'racing' as it were, the training was more to condition my knees I think. 63 storeys ... (it's a different building to what I thought was before, so it's not 73 storeys) although I think after 20 flights auto pilot checks in and it's one foot in front of the other.

Hopefully when my sis and I get to the top we can giggle and laugh hysterically about it. Then she can buy me breakfast. It's the least she can do after putting me through that.

*hugs* - you have a good weekend ok. or ... try anyways. Hang in there love.

63/73 --they both sound pretty hardcore to me ^^; But I think you're right about the autopilot--after about 5 miles of running, you just kind of keep existing and somehow keep moving, so maybe it's like that ^^;

Your sister should totally buy you breakfast! Darn right it's the least she could do ^^v then ice cream!

I'm trying to get through it. It's lonely and I'm just really scared. The last two days for some reason have been horrific. It sucks to feel like the outsider/opponent, which is a side effect of the radio silence. I sent a reach-out message to my friend last night and she kind of reiterated that she's not in a position to reassure me, which I get but it's just hard not to read lots of ominous things. I wish he were here. I wish we could struggle together even if the ending sucked.

Oh my dear ... there really are times when I wish so hard that I live next door to my online friends and never more so than now.

I feel all kinds of helpless, not least of which is knowing what to say. I don't have anything, not advice, all I can say is that you are so loved and don't you forget it girl. *handsqueeze*

Lovelovelove for you.

Well I'm going to take a shower and make sure I have the things I need for tomorrow. I'll check in sometime tomorrow night most likely. If nothing else just to reassure folk that I still am in the land of the living. ^_^

Arashi "Scene" in Singapore screening in Singapore 18 June 2011

Us in our home made t-shirts ....

And I have not the legs to wear a skirt like that without leggings. It was short and at my age heheh! I think that it went well with the t-shirts and also they're very 'Scene' sort of colours.

A close up of Shahrazad's own t-shirt!

The screening went well and you know this is kind of like the closest I will ever get to being in a concert I think, and I'm ok with that. The cinema seats 100 and there were 70 of us. And we chose front row seats, and Yi Han(lybra_87) came too. I haven't seen her since she became an adult (ie, graduated and got a job) It was so good to see her. It was so much fun to fangirl not just with her but with Darian and Shahrazad too. And I wish you were with us. You definitely would have got a kick out of it.

My children ... they are so much love I tell you. ^__^ You are so much love too. *HUGS*

OMG YOU WORE THE SKIRT &hearts

I'm so happy you went and enjoyed it and that you got to see Lybra&hearts

And you are all so completely adorable. I wish I could have been there!

A quick question: are you on AIM? If so, you should PM me your name sometime! I'm flangefive ^_^v

I LOVE LOVE LOVE THE TSHIRTS!

I've been thinking about making scene-type cookies sometime but between the heat and the crazy here, I haven't had the heart ^^;

You guys are pure love&hearts

hmmm I'm not on AIM, I'm on MSN, but I'm not superbly active on live services anymore, it's that evil thing called time. It likes to run away and just be always not enough. ^_^

And sweetheart, cookies are for love and if your heart is not going to be in it just yet. Hold off for a bit. We're ready to wait till you're ready.

I would sign up on AIM, but I don't know how to and I have this niggling feeling that I did have an acct. but it has since been lost to time and memory. Maybe I can try again ... where do I sign up? I'll try and see if I'm allowed to sign up. And what name I'm allowed to have. (my email hasn't changed in forever so I don't know if it will give me a reminder password thing if I've forgotten what I called myself. It will have zan in it but zan how/what I have no idea. Because zan is a popular handle I'm afraid.) *goes off to try*

And I sooo soooo wanted to order the LE but but I had just (at the time) ordered Ooku for Mother's Day, last month and didn't think that I should order another one so soon.

I think if there are still some left on YesAsia in time for my birthday then I will ask for it, if not I'll have to wait to order the RE for Christmas or something.

And the heat ugh ... tell me about it. The high humidex does not help at all either.

and oh goodness, yes, if you get a chance, buy the dvd--have you seen the training camp from the LE? It's already been subbed and is just pure love&hearts

This is so random that I am commenting on a comment you made somewhere else far far away but I was googling and wanna make my own Scene Con T then customize it into the one Jun wore.

Yours were fabulous when I saw them at Natsu Matsuri!!!
So making own t-shirts noob is asking if you could teach me how you made your Scene T-shirts >.

You will need. 1 plain white tee. 100% cotton works best. The blue is Dylon Turquoise Fapric paint 1 pot is usually enough for 1 tee. Silver fabric glitter glue. Also fabric paint pens in the boys' colours. You can get these at Daiso.

You should make stencils for the clouds first, the 'arashi' kanji and the rainbow. Slip a thick piece of cardboard inside the tee-shirt. This is to give you a stable base to work with as well as to prevent colour bleeding onto the back of the tee. Make a frame for the tee using cloth/ masking tape. Then arrange the clouds, rainbow, kanji onto the t-shirt. Use good quality double sided tape for these so they don't come off whilst you're painting in the background. (Jun's tee is quite complicated as there is more glitter and there is also stuff on the back, and extra rainbow in the corner. I'd suggest making Aiba's because then you could have fun with a pair of scissors. ^_~ and wait for Nino to come rip it more for you) Or Make a Sho's one which is sleeveless. I like Ohno's because it's lovely! And quite sedate. Just diamante round the collar.

After you've painted on the blue. Use a good thick width brush. Air dry it. (use a warm - not hot) hair dryer speeds up the process. Rinse it gently(so as not to disturb the stencils and the 'frame' tape. Lay a clean cloth over the painted area, and iron till dry. This 'fixes' the colour. Then use the glitter glue, to fill in your clouds. And the Kanji as well. Again air dry (with hair dryer). And then draw/colour in the rainbow.

You may need several coats of the glitter. Because these come off rather too easily in the wash. It's basically a process of gentle washes, air drying and ironing there after.

For the first few wearings, a gentle handwash is preferable. After you're comfortable with the colours n glitter staying on, you can stick the tee in the wash with no real dire consequences with respec to the tee-shirt.

Have fun and I would love very much peektures if you manage to understand all that. *HUG*

Omg this is such an amazingly long and detailed answer!!!
I shall look into procuring these materials.

In the meanwhile, to make the Jun shirt so much easier, I found taobao sells cheap printed versions of the con shirt instead. (That way I only have to do his huge rainbow and sew on the gazillion sequins)

Still wanna try making the shirt myself! Maybe I'll modify it or something (like how your daughter made it so CUTE with the Arashi members on it) :D

Thank you so much for the wonderful comment. *saves it*
