'It was the year everything changed...'

I checked my Netflix queue yesterday, and I think my heartbeat literally spiked as I noticed that a movie was being shipped. I.e., a movie and not the next disc of B5...!!! Thankfully, I quickly calmed down when I noticed that Disc 5 of S4 was also being shipped.

Then, I was sad, because I realized that I have only about 5 more important, intense episodes to watch. :( After those eps, it will be S5 + the last ep of S4. I know S5 will be nothing like the previous 3 seasons; I won't be watching it exclusively, although I do still plan to watch and enjoy it.

Ha ha! I just realized I can finally go back and watch all the episodes that have writer/actor commentary! I've had to avoid those, after a couple traumatic occasions when I innocently assumed that I would only hear commentary on that particular episode and instead heard spoilers. Gah.

I suppose I'll get around to watching some of the movies that have accumulated on my queue. Eventually, though, I'll need another show. Maybe I should make myself watch more Battlestar Galactica -- or I've always wanted to watch Farscape (so many seasons!). Or I could switch away from sci-fi and get around to MI-5 or Trigun.

ETA: Hmm...audience opinion seems to favor Trigun, heh. :) On the other hand, TSOR reveals that Farscape only had 5 seasons. Not overwhelming at all! Why did I think it had more?

Another update: Ah. Certainly part of the reason I thought Farscape had more than 5 seasons was pure oblivion to exactly when it premiered in relation to when it ended. But I'd also been quite confused recently by seeing recaps for Farscape on TWoP, when I was sure the show had ended and the actor(s) moved on to another, actually-long-running sci-fi show. Considerably-more-than-30-seconds research has revealed that TWoP is just recapping the already-cancelled show (!), to support and publicize good tv. (An explanatory FS site announcement here.)

I'm sure you're all so happy to be all caught up. Now back to work, really. I haven't been procrastinating, exactly; my current Project is so big the lawyers haven't even decided how I can help yet!
