Out of contact
I'm not exactly sure how effective this blog is as a means of communicating my whereabouts to people who might call or email me, but it at least covers the friends who'd normally expect me to read and comment on their blogs.
First off, to anybody who has tried to contact me through any means over the last month or so, and to whom I didn't reply or was irritable, my profound apologies. Work's been crazy busy and unreasonably stressful; I didn't always have the mental energy to respond to friends, even though of course I would have loved to.
Second, I am off to the wedding of a classmate in Richmond, VA, then a week at dance camp in the woods of Plymouth, MA. I should be back the evening of the 12th, although sleeping comprises almost the entirety of my plans for the rest of that weekend. I am hoping that a time of friends, my beloved folk dancing, and fresh air -- FAR AWAY from work -- will be a great relief for the stress that's been accumulating week after week. Perhaps some time away from my vices (although I won't say that I'm giving up sugar entirely, because I suspect that ginger beer and ice cream will be much enjoyed in the afternoons) will help me get a fresh start.
