the things I saw this weekend
Just for fun, here's my weekend in pictures.
Logistics were not fortuitous, so Dan and I did not go to AC. Instead, I relaxed and rented a movie.
Saturday morning, I had breakfast with Jesse at the Dutch Eating Place. My appetite was not quite returned from being desperately ill on Wednesday evening, but it was as delicious and satisfying as usual.
Saturday afternoon and evening, grumpy_sysadmin showed me his new server, Rafa cooked food, and sylvansafekeepe showed me the first three episodes of Babylon 5.
Sunday afternoon, I packed mugs and taped boxes at the house of these good friends, as folk dancers did what they do best -- help people move!
Then rapper!Andrew drove me and Cameron to Horsham Township, where our rapper dance was part of the 90-minute mostly-Appalachian clogging extravaganza by these ladies.
For a pleasant end to the weekend, krh and Rebecca and her Israeli man hosted a summer party with plentiful vegetarian food, a multi-colored disco ball and hanging glass discs, dance music, a tambourine, a sprinkler, and a beautiful yard. (Not an actual photo of the yard.)
