We still haven't gotten rid of all the food! I've sung at good friday and easter sunday services at Old St. Joe's in the past. But no longer.

Hmm, cool. How did you end up singing there? On Sunday morning, they had a quartet of singers, and during the offertory the tenor & alto sang 'O Death, where is thy sting?' from the Messiah. Then the whole quartet sang 'But thanks be to God', one to a part -- I like hearing the chorus sections that way because each part is more distinct.

I tend to prefer elaborate church buildings like St. Mark's, but Old St. Joe's has a very colonial/19th-century feel, I think.

I didn't look closely at the label for the Seder wine on Thursday (however, not Manischewitz!), but on Saturday, it was Yellowtail Shiraz. I liked the latter.

Yellowtail shiraz is both inexpensive and very tasty. I have very fond personal associations with that particular wine as well :)

I miss Neffa, and Joanna's mousse. But I did get Joanna's calling this weekend, which is something. Enjoy NEFFA!
