Arrggh!!

So, a week ago, my step-mother, who works at Tulane, started nagging my about applying for a dorm room, which I thought that I had already done. However, she kept insisting that I really needed "to look into it", so I went online and looked around as much as I could on the website, but couldn't even find out how to apply, let alone figure out if I already had. So, I asked her to ask around and see what I needed to do from these people who were supposedly telling her that I really needed to finish this process. The next day, she called me and asked me a bunch of questions about which dorm I want to stay in and what kind of room-mate I want, so I figured that the had figured out what I needed. However, a week later (this morning), and not having heard anything since then, I was kind of worried about the fact that she hadn't told me anything, so I called her. Her response was "Yeah. You should really look into that" and something to the effect that since I couldn't find the information, I would probably have to go on campus to ask, on monday, WHICH IS WHAT SHE SAID SHE WAS DOING!!!!!!!!!!
So, my mother and sister are assuring me that I will still be able to work this out, but it means waiting till monday, with the knowledge that my application is probably either non-existent, or incomplete, and to preserve relations with my father, I can't even scream at her for this Massive fuck-up on her part....
Am I over-reacting, or do I have a right to be this upset?!?!
