It looks like L, S, M, K, and X didn't get my psychic vibrations that they should leave the front door open when they leave, though. I cobbled together a little grabber out of the badly-stuck-on checked baggage sticker (hooray for taking too much stuff and clerks in a hurry, I guess) and pulled the key out from under the door.
Barring having said friends actually be here when we got back, the best thing to find upon coming home a little hungry is finding a bunch of food in the fridge. Thanks, guys, for watching our cats and leaving us good stuff to eat.
