Woo hoo! Wait. God damn it! Erm. Woo fuck?
I have 10 credits of Calculus from 8 years ago. My degree required 12. My adviser suggested I apply to have the 2 credits waived, so I did; I heard about a week before graduation that the Undergraduate Education Committee denied my request, but would allow me to take an alternate course. My adviser, a cool guy who seemed to think that decision was crap, allowed me take any old thing. So I'm taking Introduction to Oracle, a not-especially-rigorous class. Last week was the second week and the last day I could drop and get any money back.
So this morning K was checking my graduation status, and it said I'm graduated. I logged into the student info system, and sure enough my transcript says I have a BS, and I can't do anything an undergrad can do. If it's all correct, I'm going to drop the class. So, on one hand I'm pretty excited about having actually graduated ... and on the other hand I'm kind of pissed at being out $525 for no reason.
