(no subject)
Man, I had no idea how integrated Microsoft is with my stuff. I have a Zune, and it was due to chance; I got special clearance price for a brand new one about 1 1/2 ago and it works just fine! This is new to me, having something that actually... lasts. A friend at college convinced me to get an Xbox 360, and now I'm hooked to it. Little did I know, I can connect my zune to it and play music from it. Yeah so, I was impressed at the time! But what really had me was that I could even have the console connect to my PC and play movies/music/photos if I wanted to. More reasons to get a spacious drive!
Now, what has me giddy is Microsoft point system thing. At first what I thought was that, you buy points for your xbox and that was it. Much like the Wii, where you can only buy content for and only for the console. But with microsoft, it doesn't necessarily end there, you can even buy music from the zune marketplace. The points one buys also crosses over to other services which has me very impressed!
I hate to say this, and I thought I never see the day but.. my mind is starting to change about Microsoft and its products. Although I do not like some of the things they do like DRM, and stuff but at least it is doing something right. Doing something right that I just may even subscribe to their zune pass thing, I had no idea that by the end of the month you earn enough credit to permanently own 10 songs! The service is $14.99/mo so the way I see it is, 10 songs to keep, and 5 for the service to 'borrow' all the music it has to offer. Fair enough.
Anyway, moving on from this 'fanboy' like persona I've just been thinking about random stuffs as well for the past couple days.
Like, what I should be doing, what am I doing with my life this year and such. I think I'll save my thoughts for another time for now. Some are pleasant while others aren't. I think this is a revolutionary time in my life where I just have to make decisions, make changes in my life, getting things sorted out, you know? So yeah, I know I have plenty of time for these thoughts and all so I'll save them for another time.
'Cause now, I should be getting ready for work.
