Tour update #1
The Delicious played our first show of the tour last night in Champaign Illinois last night. We played in the upstairs room of this classy neighborhood bar. The space was kind of small but it filled up quick. We didn't fit particularly well with the other bands that played, so the crowd wasn't particularly into it. But it could have been worse! Dan Farner (the dude who booked our tour) has a cousin here who let us stay with him. We head to Carbondale today.
The limo is running great. Better than it ever has before. We figured out the packing really well last night. All our luggage is in the trunk and all the gear fits in the very back seat. Leaving the middle and front for the four of us. The looks we get from other people when we drive through town are fucking priceless.
I already had a dream about Bloomington last night. I was at some party hanging out with Ginger and Rawny. I think there was a band playing in the basement. Then Sara D came and tried to convince me to wash my hair with beer. She told me that washing your hair with hot water was really bad for it, but beer made your hair really healthy. But you had to use Old Style and not PBR. I think I woke up shortly after that.
