If human civilization still exists in 300 years, I will be VERY surprised.

Actually, I'll be dead.

Speaking of death... )

I think it would be interesting to die from a long free fall.

Also one of my favorite comments on death by nick swardson:

"I heard your Grandma died. I'm so sorry. What happened?"
"Oh man, She flipped her 'Vet."

I agree; it wouldn't be the most painful, but dying while skydiving would be fascinating, just seeing the earth rush at you.

Wow, that's as morbid a I've been in a while...

I wonder what it feels like to be disintegrated.

One of my good friends was explaining to me the physics of being sucked into a black hole. Assume that you're going in feet first. Even though you wouldn't actually survive long enough to feel these effects, what happens is that since everything in its gravitational pull continuously accelerates at an exponential rate, your feet would start accelerating faster than your head, so by the time you actually got to the pinpoint that is the center of the black hole, your body would be stretched out to be miles and miles long (or just get ripped apart).

Science is fun!

If it were instantaneous, It probably wouldn't feel like anything at all.
