Today consisted of me giving a bass lesson, watching Apocalypse Now, taking a nap, returning and renting movies from Plan 9, then watching Independence Day. Big Trouble in Little China is next.
I feel like a total bum, but every once in awhile I enjoy taking a day to do fuck all. Especially since I'll be working 12 hours tomorrow, and an average of 8 every day this week.
I've met several really cute, intelligent girls lately, but so far there is no reciprocation. These next two seasons are always the worst to be single. I'm just trying not to worry about it too much. It will happen when it happens, right? At least I have Grendel to keep me company until then.
I've been feeling slightly more isolated lately since several more of my really close friends either transferred schools or are studying abroad this year. Since I've lived here my whole life, I've never been forced to make new friends. It's strange to start now.
