Why does this shit still surpirse me?

I was riding my bike downtown yesterday. As I turned on college street, I got in the far right lane. Halfway between 7th and 6th streets, a car that was parallel parked began to pull out while I was RIGHT next to it, forcing me to swerve into oncoming traffic in the next lane. As I passed the car I gave the driver a look, like WTF?!?!?! He then proceeded to pass me, open his door, stick his head out and yell "Drive a fucking car!" at me.
