To all my Bostonian peeps, but especially to
queenofhalves and
dietrich, my friend
raasalhayya will be moving from lethally hot Texas to join your milder city. Her office has a position for her there, and her
husband's painting and sculpting can be done and sold anywhere that there is art, even if the market is recovering slowly right now.
The lady herself is one of the Brass Belles steampunk bellydance troupe, a Terry Pratchett fangirl, an ardent Japanophile, amateur Egyptologist, a Khemetic witch (with a few contacts and looking for more), and a quietly wonderful person. She's looking for Harry Potter and other fannish groups in the Boston area and other good, pagan-friendly people with helpful knowledge of the city to talk to. She's an Aspie and a bit on the retiring side as far as noisy crowds, but for talking about books and culture is as lively and animated as anything.
Recommendations of good veterinarians for feline friends will be most appreciated. Commenting here or on her journal would be most welcome.
