I just bought me a ticket back to the loving arms of the motherland!
Tentative plans involve some time in Portland hanging out and maybe some country fair going and certainly some time home in the burg of Roses and the valley of Umpqua (land of delicious ice cream (not the only land of delicious ice cream; there are others)) and then some flying across the country and living in Madison.
Things I look forward to:
Brothers! Nephew, parents, friends, etc.
Cheese.
Bread. Whole wheat!
Cold fresh milk that doesn't have any sugar and spoils if unrefrigerated.
Understanding when people talk.
Living in Madison.
Learning new things that are not Chinese (Chinese things are good, too). I was thinking about taking CS classes at either UW or MATC as a non-degree seeking student ('cause gee it was fun last year). I think that as a nonresident, that won't actually be possible this year, but maybe I'll read some books or the internet or something. Also, martial arts? Juggling? Fencing? I don't even know.
Butter!
Mattresses!
Breathing.
Thunderstorms.
Trees. The North Umpqua trail! And they must have trees somewhere in Wisconsin, too.
Books.
Sledding. Building snowmen!
No homework?
No scary organs in my foood!
Life.
Butterfingers.
mmm, butterfingers. Bai bai!
