Im joining the National Guard. And I think theres nothing wrong with that.
I really think that its going to help me out. I mean right now I dont have an awesome chance of going back to college and I know I have to so that I dont end up working at ICT for the rest of my life....I mean I get a decent check after I get out of AIT. I can pay off my car, pay up a lease on an apartment maybe start living like an adult.
Ive thought about it really. Im not going in thinking I might never see combat or whatever...but you know you gotta do what you gotta do
As to other people who are making that decision, good for you. As long as they are sure thats what they want to do then more power to them. Yeah its not for everybody but some people do benifit from it. Its a life changing experience.
I think people should be more opened minded. Ive had had quite a few people critisize my decision, but you know what its my decision to make. I understand you saying something once, giving me advice, but I'd apprieciate that if you cant just give me some support then dont bring it up. Im not changing my mind.
My car payment is caught up until august 28th
