Wow... LJ's moving at a nice clip today.
So, paper's turned in ("It's too long, I can see that already." to which I respond, "How 'bout you decide that after you've read it?") and oral presentation is given (and while I was the best speaker of the day, not ONE of those mindless voids spoke out at the "any questions/comments/concerns" part, which is annoying because I don't like talking to MYSELF) and I'd better not get anything less than an A, dammit.
OR ELSE.
I'll get the paper back on Tuesday, which is also the day I start my YOGA CLASS!!!!!111!1ONE!!111
So, regarding this 'Bob-n-country' musicale extravaganza I'm doing with Doc's church... last night at the rehearsal he says, 'Everyone who's doing a solo, raise your hands."
*pause*
*looks around lost-ly*
I didn't raise my hand, because, like I said before, he didn't SAY anything.
3 minutes later: "Sandie, get out here in front and get this mike."
*me in an aside to my girl Helen*
"I guess that means I got my solo, huh?"
"Yeah, I think so."
So I ran through it and I own, of course.
Vicki leaned out at the end of it and made the arms-raised-in-the-air-cheering motion at me, so I guess I was pretty ok.
Doc, of course, reminded me that I need to breathe (duh) and that I was having some pitch problems on certain spots. I'm like, yeah, Doc, it's the first time I've done it with a mike and gods forbid I get time to get USED to that, huh?
Silly Doc with his mad-scientist hair.
Anyway, go me.
