kick up your heels get happy
Hello all. I've been neglecting my lj for quite a while. So here's the updates.
1. I'm on spring break now. It's actually been pretty good. I've spent my time reading for school, working out, and hanging out at the Vous... which is not non-smoking contrary to what I had thought. Being home has really put life into perspective a little bit. It's been nice to clear my head and get ahead on some school work. It's time to kick ass for the rest of the school year.
2. I am supposed to student teach next year, but I'm thinking about trying to spend a year getting certified to teach elementary school instead. I don't know if that would even be possible, and that would mean that I wouldn't graduate in May, but I really hope it is. I have been struggling with the idea of being a high school teacher for quite a while now... and I think it's time to do something about it. If this isn't possible I'm going to have to student teach next year anyway, but my fingers are crossed.
3. I still love my co-op to death. Phoenix House has been the best living arrangement I've ever experienced. We have a blog that is quite funny... check it out. www.phoenixhaus.blogspot.com
4. I bought my ticket for Rothbury the other day and I can't wait to go! Anyone who is going to be in the midwest over 4th of July weekend should come too. www.rothburyfestival.com
