Lifey things and stuff
Well, I have two job interviews next week! I almost had a third one (set up over the phone) but looking it up revealed it to be a scam place. *sigh* I guessed so when I looked at their Facebook page and, instead of discussing the service the company performs for clients, it discusses "The marketing plan." Never a good sign. Then Googling "[company name]" and "scam" together produced far too many hits. I really, really, really hate job scams.
But! I still have two job interviews--one, as previously mentioned, for a cruise line, and one for a popular department store. Neither of those are scams, so I consider this a success.
Yesterday went shopping for interview clothes. Unfortunately, every single store in the local suburban mall was out of my pants size. WTF.
And this weekend I'm selling gyros. Yaaay! Except it's supposed to rain all weekend and it's usually kind of a slow event anyway. But I'm paid by the hour so whatever. ;) Any local people want to come visit me and possibly get free food because I bribe people to be friends with me hang out? Anyone?
